Take outdoor living from your dream to reality.
Our design staff will gladly give recommendations or provide a 1-on-1 design consultation.
If you’re at the early stages of planning, and aren’t sure where to start, we encourage you to visit our showroom. If you have some initial ideas, but are trying to plan and budget before taking your next steps, we can work with you to create a 3D design of your outdoor living space. We’ll ask you a series of questions to determine what you’re looking for, and then we’ll either meet with you at your space and/or request photos and measurements to move forward. Initial design consultations at our showroom are complimentary and, once you move to the design phase, we charge for the drawn designs.
You can stop by our location on Rt. 8 in Valencia to get ideas, choose products, and walk through our displays. If doing the project yourself doesn’t interest you, we can fit you with the perfect contractor to build your dream.
If needed, we’ll create a 3D design rendering so you’ll know exactly what your outdoor living space will look like.

Design Considerations for Your Outdoor Living Space
There’s a lot to consider when planning an outdoor living space. The Allgreen team is here to help ensure that you start on the right path and make informed decisions.
What’s your ultimate dream for this space?
Do you envision your family enjoying dinner al fresco? Do you want to have a glass of wine by the fire in the evening? Is a pool a priority for your home? Maybe you just want to improve your backyard view? Be sure to line up your priorities first, and then decide which things are most important to you. From there, you can figure out the details like slip-resistant pavers for the poolside, the size of your maintenance-free picnic table, or whether you want a gas- or a wood-burning fire. The options are endless!
Is this a space you’d like to utilize in all or most seasons?
In Western PA, we get the benefit of all four seasons, which are all beautiful in their own way. When it comes to your outdoor living space, keep this in mind. In the early spring and late fall, it may be too cold to entertain outside, unless you have sufficient outdoor heaters, and/ or a powerful fire feature. Outdoor heaters can be electric or gas, are surprisingly efficient, and can be engineered specifically for your space. In the summertime, you may want some extra shade from a pergola, pavilion, gazebo, or pergola with a retractable shade. Structures can be a great benefit for the spring’s rainy season, as well.
Do you entertain often?
Depending on whether or not you intend to host small intimate gatherings or large groups, your space should be scaled for that. From the size of your grill to the number of seating areas, keep your lifestyle and entertaining plans in mind. If you host large groups often, you may want a grill as large as 54” or multiple seating areas around the space. If your gatherings are smaller, you may want one central area with a smaller grill.
What level of quality do you want?
Outdoor living is all the rage, and you can see evidence of that in all the big box stores, let alone small businesses. When it comes to quality, there’s a wide range in the outdoor living industry. If you are dreaming up an outdoor space that will last for years or even decades to come, then keep that in mind during your shopping and design process. If you’re tired of replacing grills, patio furniture, or the pop-up cloth pavilion every few years or after a big wind storm, then acknowledge that as well. Generally, if you want quality and knowledgeable customer service that goes with it, then consider shopping small and local.
